Important information about photos

We have had a lot of question about how to make your RV look good in photos and also what the file size and type have to do with it. Below are the answers to these question which will hopefully clear up any problems that you may have.

1) Be sure to make your RV the focus of the photo. This means center it in the frame. Try not to get too much of the surrounding area in the frame. After all, it's the RV your want to sell, not the trees around it.
Here is an example a good photo;

The same photo with the RV centered
This photo has the RV centered in the frame.
This photo is only 33.3 KB and would only take a short time to download.
Avoid leaving large amounts of empty space in the photo.
MOST OF ALL - People are less likely to wait for a large picture to load
Potential buyers can be lost!

If your picture is too large, can make your picture smaller in size by using the utilites below, we provide them free to you.

2) Be sure to wash your RV and clean it up before taking a photo. Nothing looks worse than a dirty RV.

3) Try to take the picture in good light. It is easy to take a dark picture.

4) File size is important, try to keep the file size as small as possible. Usually a 30-50 KB file is sufficient. Just remember, "the bigger the file, the longer it takes to load".

5) File type is also important. MoreRVs.com accepts only photos in the GIF or JPG format. The choice is yours, but it must be one of these two types. If you are unsure what type you have, seek help to verify it.
